Postino Broadway
The building that houses Postino Broadway was constructed in 1895, and has housed several businesses in the past century, including Purity Creamery Co., from the 40’s-60’s (fun fact: the Postino Broadway logo was inspired by the typography used in the Creamery’s original store sign) as well as a string of bars, including Denver’s oldest gay bar, Compound Basix. We put on our construction hats and restored the building’s original features, including its brick walls and street-facing windows, which had been covered in the years since it was constructed. The neighborhood can now enjoy our Team of passionate Chefs and Hospitalitarians, eclectic furnishing, pop art and oversized, colorful light fixtures such as a large rainbow Murano glass chandelier hanging above our swanky lounge area.
